David Kohl, FNP-BC

David is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. He received his Master's in Nursing from the University of Delaware and his Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Lycoming College.  David has an extensive background in in critical medical care.  Prior to working with us, David spent 10 years working for Christiana Care as a Flight Nurse with an elite helicopter rescue team. 

Laura Rowley, FNP-BC

Laura is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Delaware and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from The George Washington University. She has over 9 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse prior to obtaining her advanced degree, including 3 years with the American Embassy in Singapore. She has a special interest in sexual and reproductive health, diabetes, and mental health. Laura believes strongly that caring for and addressing your mental health is the first step to overall well-being. She is passionate about providing inclusive, holistic care to her patients and their families.  

Jennifer Burris, FNP-C

Jennifer is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Anthony College of Nursing (Illinois) and her Master of Science degree from University of Delaware. Jennifer spent twenty years caring for patients as a Registered Nurse prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner. For the past five years she has delivered primary care to patients of all ages at Westside Family Healthcare. She believes in building strong relationships with patients and families always with the goal of empowering each person to achieve their best lived experience.

Paula Rutledge, FNP-BC

Dr. Paula Rutledge is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her FNP degree from Wilmington University and her Ph.D. from Hampton University. Dr. Rutledge has over 22 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner and over 12 years of experience as an educator. Her experience in the medical field is varied and includes working as an Assistant Professor at Delaware State University in the department of nursing; working as a provider for Westside Health Family Practice, Delaware Physician Associate, and Wilmington 1st Urgent Care. Dr. Rutledge is not only passionate about caring for her patients but believes that they should understand the “whys” whats” and “hows” of care.

Ryeneysa Mackall (Gregory), FNP-BC

RyeNeysa is a Family Nurse Practitioner, certified through the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC). She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Norfolk State University and her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Widener University. RyeNeysa has a background in geriatric care and mental health. Ryeneysa has a passion for medicine and loves to care for her patients.

Adrienne Briggs, A-GNP-C

Adrienne is a board-certified Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science degree and her Master of Science degree from The University of Delaware. Adrienne has a background in hospital medicine. She spent 17 years caring for patients as a Registered Nurse prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Before coming to Trinity, Adrienne worked in Cardiology at Delaware Cardiovascular Associates. Adriene is a lifelong Delawarian who deeply cares about our community and has a passion for medicine. Adrienne is excited to be part of our team. 

Andrea Pouschine FNP-C

Andrea received her master's degree in Nursing from Drexel University where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she was a registered nurse since 2014. Before coming to Trinity she worked at Christiana Care in the cardiac step-down unit where she was the charge nurse. 

Vinod Kripalu, MD 

Dr. Kripalu is an internist (primary care physician) practicing in Wilmington,Delaware for the last 25 years. He did his residency at Jacobi Hospital (affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York) from 1994-1997. He is certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine. Prior to 1994 he worked at the prestigious All India Institute Of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India.

​Jessi Thompson, FNP-C

Jessi is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and licensed in the State of Delaware.  She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Baylor University, where she also completed her nurse practitioner training.  Jessi started her nursing career as a registered nurse in 2004 after graduating from Wesley College.  For the last 18 years as a registered nurse, she has worked primarily in emergency/critical care, but also as a nursing and paramedic clinical instructor and an elementary school nurse.  Jessi is excited in this new journey and joining the Trinity family.

Julia Elcock-Vengen MD 

Dr. Julia is a family physician. She attended Temple University Medical School and completed Family Practice residency at St. Francis Hospital in June 1992. Since then, She has practiced mostly primary care, with some experience in nursing home care, urgent care and hospital medicine.

Dr. Julia is inspired to partner with patients in caring for their health with a holistic approach, and she looks forward to being of service.

Each physician is certified by the American Board of Medicine and comes to our practice with years of experience in their area of specialty.  Our board-certified nurse practitioners always consult with the attending physician in order to provide informed, consistent care at all times.
